  • Former location of an old cement plant, Revisionist (guest) wrote 16 years ago:
Concrete plant was on other side of fleet street where Costco is now!
  • Condos (Former Co-op Cold Storage), na8310 wrote 16 years ago:
There was no fire at this building. There was a single story building to the south of it that joined the two condos that had a fire before it was demolished. There is now a in-ground pool on the site between the two condo's.

Glencairn may be Lower-Middle to middle class, but the area shown on the map is not all Glencairn. I am unable to modify the boundaries, but if anyone is able to, they should correct this as it is misleading. There are many desirable neighborhoods in this area.

I doubt it the worlds largest Tim Hortons but the the parkade they built in the back was not in line with the city's new downtown plan and even worse was there attempt to decorate it with what can be described as the worst painting of a hill side and field. It looks horrible and should be torn down and rebuilt under ground.

This restaurant is overpriced. The serving sizes are small and the food wasn't even that good. If you like getting ripped off then this is the place for you.

  • former Queen City drive in, Ken (guest) wrote 16 years ago:
I think this was actually the Queen City drive-in, not the StarLite. The Queen City drive in was located further west from this marked location, closer to Pasqua street. KiddieLand was located by Pasqua street and the drive-in was east of tha. The StarLite drive-in was on the east end of the city by where Costco is located now.
